Lilah nodded as she finally let her gaze fall back down to Haven, the smiled was still on her face and her eyes seemed slightly brighter than they had been when their conversation had started The magic had obviously calmed her, opened her up a little. "It's amazing, you're a dueler aren't you?" she asked, just the way Haven handled her wand told her so but she could now remember watching the panther being used in a match before, "They're a very unique way of doing so" she added, even though Haven had yet to answer her question.

Haven nodded. "One of the best" Haven said with a slightly laugh as she took her wand out and gave it to Lilah to look at it. It was a black wand with a green gem on the top of it with a snake winding around it. There was Dueling ingravings on it and it was made from Phoenix and Peacock feathers. She was quite proud of her wand, but more proud of what the wand could do. She looked at Lilah with a fascinated look. This girl was different from the others. Well except for Faith, who truely was special.

Lilah carfully laid the wand down on her flat palm as she slowly turned it from the bottom with her other hand. She stared down at it intently, taking in every detail as she did so before finally she held it loosely in her right hand and gave it a short sharp flick, making sure to point it away from Haven. Something small shot from the end and hit the ground not too far away, there was a paused for a moment before it began to move and grow and seconds later a lily stood growing from between two of the paving stones. It then changed to glass. "hmm..was meant to silver" she mumbled, holding the wand back out to Haven. "Must be because it's not my wand, It contains Phoenix feather though, am I right? ... Mum used to make wands" she added to explain.

Haven watched the Lily grow and smiled at the site. Then it turned to glass which made it look even more beautiful. She finally tore her gaze away to look over at Lilah. She nodded. "Phoenix and Peacock..and that is really cool that your mum used to make wands" Haven said as she took the wand and placed it back into her pocket carefully. She looked back over at Lilah. "She doesnt anymore?" Haven asked curiously.

Lilah shook her head a little, then paused "Well yes, just not as much, she gave it up mostly when I was born to raise me and teach me but she does the odd one when people send her an owl asking" she explained, grabbing the bench tightly with one hand as she leaned off of it and grabbed the Lily, snapping it at the base softly. Sitting back up properly she smiled as she slowly rolled the stem between her finger and thumb, looking at it from all angles. "That doesn't look like a very common wand either, where did you come by it?" she asked.

Haven looked at the lily and smiled. "Again..I would have to kill you.." Haven said with another small laugh.

Lilah gave Haven a small smile that showed that, though Haven was only joking, she was slightly annoyed by it. Only a little though. "You're a big tease you know that?" she asked, holding the Lily up so that the light hit it better.

Haven heard her voice and she smiled and nodded her head. "Yeah I know..Im quite proud of it too.." Haven said as she laughed and tucked her hair behind her ears. She looked at the lily again. "My..Lacie..You know the Gryffindor seeker who died last year? She gave me me wand..She got it made especially for me.." Haven said taking in a deep breath, remembering.

Lilah felt her body straighten and then freeze that way. Silently she cursed herself for prying, she should have stopped asking when Haven did not answer the first time. She wondered if the tattoo had something to do with Lacie too or if that one was just Haven actually teasing her. She'd known Lacie, not well but they had spoke a few times. Her mouth opened just slightly but she had no idea what she should say, finally what everyone else would say slipped out "I'm sorry" she mumbled.
