The Great Hall. In all its wonder and age it still looked like one of the masterpieces of the art world. With its carefully sculped walls, and a beautiful marble floor. The roof has the illusion of not being there, but is. Candles floated mid air and candles hung on the walls. The long tables were basically empty. As most of the school had classes. But Haven didnt.
She sat at the Slytherin table, with a book infront of her and her short and choppy hair falling over her covering her green eyes. Her cloak draped behind her and pooled around her feet. Her black fingernails 'trapped' on the oak as she read the book, not really paying attention to it.
She sighed as she raised her head and looked around. She was one of only three students and one teacher in The Great Hall, she turned back to her book and took in a deep breath.

Faith had woken early and stayed in bed until she got bored and got up. Dressed in her Gryffindor colored robes, Faith made her way into the Great Hall, taking a seat at the table. Looking up, the ceiling was sunny with a few clouds, and Faith was itching to try out her new broom on the Quidditch Pitch. As the Gryffindor Seeker, she had to keep in shape to stay on the team. Thinking about Quidditch brought a smile to her lips as she poured herself some juice.
Looking around she was surprised she didn't see Niki. Her sister was always normally up early but this morning she wasn't. Strange. Faith thought. She could not go check on her either since Niki was sorted into Ravenclaw. She did see two other students, a Slytherin who was holding a book and a Hufflepuff who was eating toast.
The Slytherin was a girl and Faith raised her eyes. She thought the other girl was pretty but she wasn't about to say that out loud. No, that stayed in her mind where it belonged. It was safer in her mind.

Haven felt a pair of eyes on her and she turned her head over to gaze at the girl. The Gryffindor had her eyes raised. Haven looked aorund and then looked back at the girl. Haven smiled to her, revealing her beautiful and breath taking smile. Her two caine teeth were abit longer then normal and her lips were full and red.
Her smile faded slightly as she looked back down to her book and let her arm sleeve fall down and fall to the joint in her elbow to reveal her tattoo on her wrist, it was of three claw marks.
((I wanted to change my character celeb lol))

Faith took in the girls appearance, still not moving her eyes away. Sure the other girl was a Slytherin but that didn't matter to her. She was beautiful and Faith could not help but look. When the girl smiled, Faith blushed slightly, smiling back and waving a small hello. Looking around, the Great Hall was still pretty empty so Faith stood up from the Gryffindor table and walked over to the Slytherin table where the girl was sitting. "I know I'm not Slytherin but do you mind if I join you?" Faith asked. The old rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin was still around, but it was less intense these days, mainly thanks to the famous Harry Potter defeating the dark lord. Faith tapped her foot ever so slightly as she waited for an answer.

Haven smiled as she nodded and looked at the girl. "Sure I have nothing against Gryffindors babe" Haven said as she looked back down at the book then back at Faith. She smiled again. "Im Haven..Haven Malfoy" Haven said as she extened a hand to her. She smiled again and showed her caine teeth. She looked the girl over once or twice and felt her stomach tighten. She felt something stir with in her.

Faith smiled. "Thanks." As she sat down, she looked up to see Teddy Lupin walking in, his dark black robes colored with red billowed behind him. "Hello." He nodded as he walked pas the two girls, taking a seat at the staff table. Teddy was the Gryffindor house head and Faith was a Gryffindor, so they did talk a little bit. Faith turned back to Haven, taking her hand and shaking it. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Faith, Faith Abernathy." Faith smiled warmly, but she was worried about her sister. I'm sure she will turn up. Faith mused but was still going to keep an eye out. She was protective of her sister and refused to let any harm come to her.
"So what year are you?" Faith asked as Teddy grabbed a goblet of juice. Teddy would keep an eye out on the students, he may not be headmaster but he still kept an eye on things.

Haven smiled as she shook Faith's hand. She felt a spark there and that made her stop and then pull her hand away reluctingly. She looked at Teddy with a smile. She looked back at Faith and into her eyes, not really meaning to but it coming naturally. "Im in my 6th Year..How about you?" Haven asked, genrally curious about this girl.
She seemed interesting. And Haven wondered if this girl knew about her reputation as a player in Hogwarts.

"Me? I'm a seventh year." Faith replied, looking at Haven. She didn't take any food, simply because it wasn't her table. But she did rest her hands on the table top as she wondered what else they could talk about. Then it hit her, why not talk about Quidditch. As Gryffindor Seeker, she knew a lot about the sport, of course she didn't know about Haven's past. If she did, she doubted she would've brought the subject up. "You play Quidditch? I'm the Gryffindor Seeker." She had taken the Seeker's place when the other Seeker had died, it was such a sad night in the common room. They had all felt like they had lost a best friend. Faith took a moment of silence in remembrance.

Haven went to shake her head but it stopped mid shake. Her face went pale as she looked at the girl. She was the Gryffindor seeker. She was the girl that took Havens girlfriend..Well ex-girlfriends..Place. Haven looked down at the table. That fateful night flashed in her mind. Haven was there..She saw her girl go down.
"Well..Im glad they filled Lacies place.." Haven said in a sad tone as she looked intently at the table. She didnt know what to say.

"Wait, you knew her?" Faith asked, looking intently at Haven. She noted the sad tone and wondered if Haven was close to Lacie, and Faith felt a pang of sadness through out her body. Faith liked Lacie, she trained with her and even studied together if either had trouble. Although that wasn't often but sometimes. "She was an awesome Seeker." Faith admired Lacie's Quidditch ability. Thats why she didn't want to take her place, feeling like she would never be as good as Lacie had been.

"Yeah I knew her..She was my baby.." Haven said softly as she looked harder at the table of wood. She missed Lacie everyday, and sometimes had nightmares about that night. She looked back at Faith with sad eyes. "Yes she was..She loved it too..More then I think she loved me.." Haven said with a slight sad chuckle to her tone. She looked back down at the table.
She didnt understand why they had to take her.
