Name:Ailidh Gray Age:16 Alignment: Good Appearance:
Ailidh stands at about 5'9'', with long, lean legs and a slim body, fit for playing football and other various sports. She has long, dark brown hair that falls into her eyes constantly, but it left down around her shoulders unless she is trying to focus on homework or a book. Ailidh has dark, chocolatey green eyes, with a small nose dotted in freckles. She has a fair complexion and rosy red lips that seem to suit the smug smirk that is normally displayed on them. Ailidh has a long scar on the back of her palm, nothing that a quill put there, but from a dog attack, other less prominent scars still cover her body. Personality: Ailidh, at first, seems to have the kind of personality to match the smug smirk on her face. She doesn't like to talk to too many people, and when she does the answers are quick and short, she's very guarded. She is afriad of what could happen to her if she let someone into her heart, let them know what she really felt. Really, she's a scared 16 year old girl who needs friends. She puts on a brave face and a 'i-could-care-less' facade, and an attitude to match it all, and covers up that she wishes that someone would just persist, ask her what's wrong, continue to want to know how she was. She wishes that she could find a true friends. Family:
Mother: Isadora Durnin{Witch} Father: Edward Gray{Wizard} Brother:{older:18} Keith Gray{Wizard} Sister: {younger:12}Rachel Gray{witch} Sister: {younger:10}Sarah Gray{witch}
House:Gryffindor
A Little More: History: Ailidh Gray was born to Isadora and Edward Gray, on a stormy, dark June 7th night. Her older brother was not pleased to discover that he has received a younger sister, and not the brother that he had behaved so well to get. Ailidh was a quiet child, she didn't fuss much (unless she was tired) and (after a while) her brother discovered that maybe it wasn't so bad to have a younger sister, especially when you can make them do whatever you want them to. While her mother was pregnant with Rachel, and Ailidh was 2 years old Keith convinced her (in his 4 year-old wisdom) to climb into the neighbors yard, and give the dog a hug. Ailidh thought that was a jolly good idea, and proceeded to to so... until, that is she discovered that the puppy wasn't so nice, and not so small, and a guard dog. Ailidh was hurried to the hospital and was kept there for a week to make sure that she would be alright.
After that, Keith and Ailidh were closer than ever. Keith was protective over her and was totally fine that she didn't listen to anything he told her to do. Rachel was born 3 weeks later, without a hitch, and soon became the hot head of the family. Between throwing tantrums, and demanding to be attended to every second, Ailidh and Keith were some-what pushed to the side. It wasn't long until Rachel had turned 2 and her temper seemed to have calmed down a wee bit, but it still sat there, like Pompeii.. ready to explode at any second on unsupecting people. And there was an announcement, once again the wonderful head of the family was pregnant, with another girl.
It was then that the arguments started, between her mother and her father. They were unexplaintory (to the children, who were young at the time) and who did't understand why, all of a sudden they were moving houses and living with just their father. Why they had to leave the new baby behind with their mother and why everyone int heir family seemed to be so sad all of a sudden. It was fairly obvious, one they all grew up that their parents had gotten a divorce. The two younger girls automatically demanded that they live with their mother, and tried to get Ailidh to follow, but she stayed with Keith and her father.
Life continued to pass without much drama after that, until Keith recieved his letter from HOgwarrts. That was all he had been looking forward to hte whole summer, all he had spoken about, and when he left Ailidh, at nine years old, felt very left behind. She got her letter, two years later and Keith showed her all of the ropes, without a hitch. "Hey! You lazy!" Ailidh bit down on her tongue, preventing the large curse from coming out of her mouth. "Why can't you just make yourself one?" she demanded of her brother as he walked away with her sandwich.
"...'Coz I don't wanna." Keith shrugged with a large grin.
"You're a jerk." Ailidh sighed, tossing the plastic plate to him and walking over to the kitchen to make herself another sandwich. She looked over at the clock, it was just a little bit after 12 o'clock, and yet she was wishing that time would speed up so she could go to bed. It wasn't that she couldn't go to bed right then, it was just that if she did... Keith would worry, he'd send their father an owl at the ministry and get him worried there, and then he'd come home early... and there'd just be too many questions. ...No, nope... staying awake is good for now Ailidh sighed.
She slowly started up her sandwich once again, hearing Keith munching on 'his' and flipping on the television. Their father had been adopted by a muggle and a wizard, and he wanted his kids to know what it was like to be a muggle. So over the summer... unless it was homework related... there was no magic allowed. Television, however, there was a lot of. The thought of homework made Ailidh wince slightly, there was only a week 'til the beginning of school... after she had made her sandwich she hauled herself upstairs and grabbed her books and some parchment, then wandered back downstairs, grabbed some ink and a quill and her sandwich, and sat cross legged on the floor in front of the TV, only really half paying attention to the Transfiguration work in front of her.
