Albus walked out of the school and towards the lake. He wanted to just sit and relax. He had just got done, doing some of his homework, but he still needed to do his charms and potions homework. He would do those later. He needed some time away from the books for awhile.
He also had to get out of the common room. Some Slytherins didn't like him because of who his father was. They couldn't understand why he was in Slytherin, while his brother and sister was a Gryffindor. He didn't understand either. He was glad that his parents didn't mind and niether did James and Lily, as long as he didn't start acting like a Slytherin.
Albus sat on the grass and watched the lake. It was so calm today. It was usually calm. The only time it wasn't was if students got into a fight around here and it did happen, usually between a Slytherin and Gryffindor, and a Slytherin usually started it. He had been in his share of fights with other Slytherins, usually to defend his family.
His brother was older than him and didn't usually want his help when it came to fighting, but his sister and some of his cousins would accept it. He was great at defending them. He knew how to perform some defensive spells really well. Sometimes he didn't win a fight though. That didn't really bother him. He didn't really get the glory others got when winning fights, but he did try.
He sighed. He had allowed his mind to wander off again. The lake had that power over him. He took his mind away from fighting and began thinking about his parents. What were they doing right now? He often wondered what his parents did when they were away at school. He also wondered what his brother and sister and cousins were doing. Probably studying, he thought. I'm not likely to run into anybody out here. Most of the students that talked to me are probably studying.

Teddy knew the Potters quite well, they were his second family. Harry Potter was his god father, and he normally ate dinner around their place four times a week. Harry knew what Teddy had gone through in regards to losing both parents, and Teddy had respect for the Weasley and Potter family, and was glad to be able to call them family. He had seen Lily and James around but not Albus. Since Albus wasn't in his house, he didn't see him often.
So, walking down the ground, Teddy was surprised to see Albus there but pleased. Dressed in jet black robes with the Gryffindor colors, Teddy stopped just before Albus, smiling at him before taking a seat. "So Albus, what are you doing this fine day?" Teddy asked. He ran his fingers through his hair while his eyes scanned the water.
He often came down here, it was quiet and peaceful. Waiting for Albus to speak, Teddy allowed himself to lean against the tree behind him, watching the blue skies with minimal cloud. The Gryffindor Quidditch team would be practicing soon, he had given them permission and they were taking all the practice they could. After losing their last seeker, a year seven student by the name of Faith Abernathy took the place. He hoped they didn't lose her either.
Death affected everyone, Teddy knew that. He had lost both parents in the fight against the Dark Lord, but stories were told about them. Most times his grandmother or Harry had told him about his father Remus and mother Tonks. He wished he could've met them, but things happened for a reason, even if that reason wasn't known. "You okay?" Teddy asked, looking sideways at him.

Albus had been looking at the water, not paying any attention to anybody that walked up. When he heard Teddy's voice, he looked up and smiled. "Hey," he said. "Yeah, I'm fine, just thinking."
Albus saw Teddy around every so often, mostly in the Great Hall. He never got a chance to talk to him though. Albus was glad he decided to come down here. "How are Lily and James doing?" he asked. He hadn't seen them around much lately. He was alway wondering about them.
